Kevin Hutchison spent years denying his sexuality, trying to fit into the mold of a traditional husband and conservative Christian faith leader. Then, through a fated encounter one summer night, a new world opened up where the pain of not living in his truth became too much to bear. He knew he needed to change his life.
In his coming out journey, Kevin navigated mental health struggles, alienation from his faith community, and deep inner pain. He sometimes questioned his ability to keep living. Yet he found healing, in part through reimagining and rebuilding his relationship with a truly loving God. With grace, divine intervention, and growing self-love, the ashes of his life were eventually transformed into something beautiful.
