John is a second-generation Greek American, and was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo, College of Law. He is a licensed patent attorney and has practiced patent law for the last 13 years. In his time, he has drafted from scratch around 500 patent applications, and prosecuted thousands more in most all technical disciplines before the USPTO and other patent jurisdictions around the world. He is also the author of the books No Matter the Chaos: An Attorney's Pursuit for Order and How It May Help Those Living with Bipolar "Disorder", as well as Unfinished Works: A Collection of Unrelated Fable-Like Poems. He and his family live in Pennsylvania.
